Sunny Deol Speaks Out on Fawad Khan's Return to Bollywood

In Pakistan, as of April 10, Indian actor Sunny Deol expressed his opinion about Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's return to Bollywood through the forthcoming movie "Abir Gulaal."

Khan, who began his Hindi film career with 'Khoobsurat,' proceeded to appear in additional movies such as 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Kapoor & Sons.'

Nonetheless, the Pakistani actor's earlier involvement in Bollywood was brief as tensions escalated between Pakistan and India in the subsequent years.

After a gap of six years, Fawad Khan is poised to make his comeback to the Indian film sector with 'Abir Gulaal,' co-starring actress Vaani Kapoor.

The romantic comedy, directed by Aarti S Bagdi, is set to release in theaters on May 9.

In the continuing discussion in India regarding Fawad Khan's involvement in the movie, Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has stated that he sees no issue with the Pakistani star participating in Indian films.

"I'd rather avoid delving into politics since that’s when things tend to get complicated. As actors, we perform for people from all around the globe. It doesn’t matter whether someone is watching or not—we’re here for everybody. Therefore, there isn't anything like that," he stated in an interview with an Indian media organization.

Sunny Deol stated: "Given how the world has evolved, we ought to remain globally oriented and encourage the existence of more nations; that’s how things should be."

Previously, Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane supported Fawad Khan’s performance and suggested that 'Abir Gulal' has strong potential for success at the box office.

In response to queries regarding the concerns for Pakistani artists in India, she stated, "It doesn’t affect me directly. That’s just the way things go globally, isn’t it? I genuinely think that if something is supposed to occur, it will. I try not to let external distractions interfere with my work."
